Thad joined ASI in 2026 as a certified Prime for Life Instructor and is a dedicated, data-driven educator and leader with over 25 years of experience inspiring students and supporting fellow educators. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher for West Des Moines Community Schools, Terrence has held pivotal roles including Department Chair, Mentor Teacher, and National Honor Society Advisor. His career is defined by a commitment to student evolution, successfully implementing district-wide co-teaching models, designing specialized curricula, and serving as a model host for exemplary teaching strategies.
Academically grounded with degrees in Psychology and Education, alongside a master's in special education, Terrence combines research-based teaching strategies with modern technology to meet diverse learner needs. His expertise spans across K-12 classrooms, online academies, and higher education as a former adjunct professor. Beyond the classroom, he is a deeply invested community leader, having coached various sports since the late 1990s. Terrence is continuously expanding his impact on educational leadership, currently pursuing his Administrative Licensure at Viterbo University.
